Cable burn in, as it is called is a process that really has to be done to a new audiophile cable and is very important to understand what this means.
When manufactured, a new cable always looks good and always feels good but when it is plugged in for the first time, it will not sound good at all.
It does not matter if the new cable is a Loudspeaker cable, an interconnect cable or a power cord.
