Portable solar power

Portable solar power is now becoming more affordable and people are beginning to realise just what we are able to do with the energy from the sun.

 

I have been working with the idea of being able to make a portable unit that can be used for a number of applications.

Video production is something that I have been interested in for many years and this is a picture of me when I had small a video production studio in Canada many years ago. It was a very interesting experience for me and I certainly learned so much and really enjoyed working with this media.

Lights, action, camera those magic words. I have heard them and even said them quite a few times. It’s all part of the magic of the movie world I know but like everything the technology has brought us further forward so it becomes very easy to make a New video today than it did twenty years ago. Solar power is something that is becoming well known and is now certainly more versatile. A person is now able to do so much with the suns energy and power.

I have just spent the most interesting long weekend ever because it has given me the chance to try something that I have been working on for a few months.

The idea was to take the sun’s energy and by use of a solar panel feed the voltage to a battery. I could use this stored power to so many things with and one of which was to develop a portable power unit that could be taken anywhere where mains power was needed. This article is about a beautiful system that I set up in Vilnius, Lithuania. The loudspeakers were the “WOLFVONLANGA” open baffel design.

The article will describe some of the faults that were found in the original Speaker system set up and also the corrective steps taken. We wanted to produce a package that was portable and easy to use. The idea was so that a person could go anywhere with this portable solar power package.

Fantastic cable

This is actually the third cable that I have tested from the Lithuanian manufacturer, Perkune Audiophile Cables led by Mr. Paul Goodwin and I hope you find this review interesting and informative.

Paul Goodwin emphasizes that the cables represent such a high level of technical sophistication to the sound, a more expensive cable is not needed. In other words, the cables produced by Perkune are able to optimally bring, show and highlight tones, with even the most expensive hi-fi, for they are selected and built, it will fit perfectly and complement almost any sound.
