Audiovector QR7 Tweeter
The fascia plates are machined from a single piece of Aerospace Grade Aluminum. Precision machined, glass blasted, brushed and then anodised in a beautiful Tungsten Titanium Grey colour.
The Audiovector QR7 tweeter features a rose gold plated dispersion mesh, which works as an S-Stop filter and Improves driver Integration. The tweeter is super smooth with a look of commitment. And the way it is laid out is a sight to behold.
Audiovector drive unit
The Audiovector QR7 drive unit is said to be robust and precise. And can work like a perfect piston over several octaves of the frequency band, allowing us to use amplifier-friendly filters. And means music sounds warm, precise and detailed, yet dynamic and musical even with low-power amplifiers. Also there are three dive unit fitted to the enclosure which adds to the musical excitement.
MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY
Based on experience with stiff, light and sound dead membranes in the R series speakers, Audiovector has developed a new sandwich membrane, which combines the strength of Aero Space Grade Aluminum with the excellent inner damping properties of softer materials. And as a result is a 3-layer sandwich membrane with no sound and very low distortion. Perfect for accurate music reproduction.

QR7 Loudspeaker Testing
The Audiovector loudspeaker, made in Denmark, is beautifully made. And tested in Vilnius, Lithuania at “Garso Namai’ Owned by Lukas Svedas, a well-heeled audiophile, it proved to be an exciting experience for all in attendance.
Another audio expert, Tomas Blinder, was also present to give his views on the proceedings, And Thomas has attended performance evaluations of many audio components during the past year. And his expertise is always welcomed.
Amplifier used
Musical Fidelity supplied the power. The M6S preamplifier and the M6SPRX power amplifier. The M6s PRE is effectively a preamp without limits. Its wide range of inputs, coupled with excellent performance, means it can form the heart of almost any system, regardless of price. It’s a pure Class A design capable of driving any power amplifier over any cable length.
The M6s PRE has various inputs suited to traditional and modern music sources. It has an MM/MC phono stage, two balanced inputs, and three line-level connections. A fully configured tape in/out loop and a digital USB socket. There are home theatre bypass options on both balanced and line-level inputs. And the M6s PRE sounds sweet, straightforward and fast, with tight, extended bass. No wonder in his Hi-Fi+ review of the M6s, Alan Sircom praised the M6s PRE for being “both excellent value for money.”
Audio cables
The audio cable used for testing were from perkune Audiophile cables. And the latest Matrix loudspeaker cable, The Matrix Black XLR interconnect and Matrix Black power cable. The Matrix Loudspeaker cable was new with only 24 hours on it. And the Matrix black XLR interconnects, and Matrix black power cable had about 100 hours of playing time on them.
And the sound

The Results
I have never had so much fun listening to a loudspeaker. I was amazed at the Bass response and the soundstage. Which was HUGE, and we became engulfed in the sound. The instruments’ details and presentation transparency were in another league. I could quickly feel the bass response and the bass drum hitting me in the stomach, a feeling I seldom receive when testing components! Audiovector QR7 tested
The music was simply everywhere but with absolute perfect precision in evert aspect. And I has to gasp at the way I became instantly involved. And now I was a part of the music and just did not want to stop listening. Also, one thing which really impressed me the fact in which the music was all around us and is something we all commented on. Maybe it was the length of the loudspeaker cable (5 meters) which gave this amazing sensation, I normally test with three meter loudspeaker cables so I will her to do some more experimentation on cable length!
Conclusion
The sound we heard from the Audiovector QL7 loudspeaker speakers was just about audio perfection. And I could not fault any part of the performance. Also we listened to over three hours of music and used a wide range. And from the golden oldies to the latest sonic adventures, not forgetting the classics, my afternoon was one that I will never forget!
