How to make guitar sound better is easier than you think!
You want a signal that is clean and does not contain anything other than the true guitar sound. I have written this “How to make guitar sound better” blog with the idea of helping you to improve your sound very quickly and easily.
I manufacture audiophile quality cables and love what I do but I am also a guitar player. I know the importance of getting the best quality signal from the guitar to the amplifier and this will help you!
.
The Audio Chain
In an audio chain there are basically four stages. Source, Processor, Amplifier and Loudspeaker. The source can be a Turntable, CD player, Media player, Computer, Microphone, Keyboard or an Electric Guitar.
The Source is connected to the Effects processor by an Interconnect cable or cables if a stereo configuration is required. The Processor is connected to the Amplifier again by an Interconnect cable. The Amplifier is then connected to the loudspeaker or speakers by an interconnect or loudspeaker cable.
The components used are always of the best quality that a person is able to afford at the time of entering into the music world but I wish to share something with you that I know many of you reading this just do not know.
The cable
The interconnect cable must be Oxygen free and have low resistance and capacitance. And must be constructed in such a way to keep the source signal pure. The Interconnect must be free from noise and able to exclude any external noise and vibrations entering the cable.
Because I manufacture Audiophile quality cables it was only a matter of time before I decided to introduce the same Audiophile quality cables into the world of Guitar players and this is very exciting for me. I know how the sound has improved in my own system and also with my friends who have been testing these cables over the past few months and this I can now tell you How to make guitar sound better.

Hi Paul
After researching online I finally ordered a 3-meter Loudspeaker cable and must say I couldn’t believe the difference. On my first listen, I immediately noticed how the soundstage just opened up I could really hear each instrument beautifully; the bass felt really tight and clear. I was amazed that by just changing the cables I could hear such a big difference, great website, and support has really opened my eyes.
All the best John

Hi Paul
I Am still completely blown away by the difference in my sound. It has actually made me focus more on my playing & techniques. Since you can hear so much more of the flavors than what I was hearing before, it motivated me to play so much more precise. Wish I could send you some mp3’s of before & after. Thank you for also being my WA friend & fellow College.

Hi Paul,
Just walked back in the door a few hrs ago and settling back into being home. Went down & plugged everything in & played a bit, and seemed to notice quite a difference right from the start. 🙂 The annoying static & buzz is gone. I can hear distinct mids and high that were not very clear before. Had my oldest over for Dinner last Saturday while I was off, and between writing more content, and cooking our meal he even played a bit. He might do a musician’s site, and include a link to your site. Will let you know. Am pre-stripping my truck now, and getting ready to drive 3 hrs to get my load for today, deliver 2 stores and Lord willing make it home to my bed.
Thx Wayne

Hi Paul,
Last night after work I spent a few hours re-plugging your cables to my old ones and the difference is ridiculous. I am going to throw my old cables away for which I paid over 100 pounds! I wanted to test how things sound and it is complete crap with my original cables compared to how everything sounds with your cables. How I was ever thinking that my mixes were any good I will never know and this is what it is all about – making the sound correct. I now want to replace my subwoofer cables so I will need two lengths with XLR to Stereo Jack but will let you know the exact lengths tomorrow after I have measured.
Best regards – Tommy

Hi, Paul!
The cables are really great! They are more relaxed and I can enjoy my system for what I have accomplished. It’s like I can focus more on listening to my favorite music and nothing sticks out, but allow the soundstage to work together as a whole. The presentation becomes more of what it can convey of the music to you. Very pleasing , I must say. Best buy I ever did with my system. So thanks to you Paul, for giving me the opportunity for this experience Tomorrow I travel to my friend with the big system. Taking with me, Perkune cables! Pictures and review will follow, so stay tuned – all great my friend - Eirik.
