Intro Loudspeaker cableIntro Loudspeaker cable. I discovered the Intro Loudspeaker cable in 2011 and loved it. And, over the years, supplied this cable to many members of the worldwide Tannoy group.

The cable

The cable consists of seven strands of OFC Red copper. Which, in the main conductor (each of which has 32 strands). Three of the strands are ‘Tinned. And, appears to bring out minute detail in the middle and upper regions of the music.

The cable is very dynamic, very fast and music is a real joy to listen to. And, when you hear the music this cable allows, I think you will feel the same way as I do. I have heard the term “bright”, and would certainly agree this cable is a very ‘Bright’ cable. Which, in some would-be appropriate for the system, the cables are assigned to.

Burn-in

After construction, the cables are subjected to a ‘Burn-in’ procedure. Using, three carefully chosen disks allowing the cables to reach their full potential. The burn-in procedure takes three days, and well worth it, believe me.

Does “Burn-in” make a difference? Yes, it certainly does. And, you can hear the difference very easily providing you know what you are listening for. Following this procedure, the cables receive an Anti-static treatment and cleaned with a surgical spirit and made ready for shipping.

The five-meter cable was made for a client and offered speed, clarity,  and excitement with the equipment he was using. The cables proved to be a great performing cable and the best value for money!
